Friday 7th September – our authentic Indian curry evening. A group of our newer under 11
parents have decided they would like to show off their culinary skills by providing you all with the opportunity sample their cooking of a selection of Indian foods.
The cost of this event is just £10 per adult and £5 for under 18’s. Please let us know who is
coming, so as our chefs can cater for the correct numbers. You can either pay for the event
online direct to the club account or pay in cash on Saturday this week.

As well as the food there will also be a raffle and we will also be doing the adult presentations for batsman and bowler of the year.

Saturday 8 th September - sees the annual Geoff Tibbs memorial shield match. The shield is played annually in memory of Geoff Tibbs who sadly passed away a few years ago. Geoff
was an active parent of our colt’s set up and was the father of under 18 player Jamie.
The match is held between player of the 3rd , 4 th and 5 th teams, so if you are available to play, please let your respective captains know. Match fees are £10 per player. There will also be a free barbeque on the go and if you take advantage of this we ask that you make a donation to cancer research. All match fees will also be donated to the charity.
We hope to see as many of you as possible at these two events.
