It is with great sadness that Bexleyheath cc have been informed of the passing of Laurie Burnham.
Laurie played for BHCC for a number of years and was a well liked and very sociable member. His son’s Grantleigh and Carlisle have also played for the heath for many years and continue to do so, as well as his daughter Isabella. We know Laurie was very proud of his three cricketing children and we are proud of them too for their dignity and grace at this sad time.
We send our condolences and best wishes to the Burnhams, it is very sad to lose one of the heath family. Rest in peace Laurie, we will have a drink in your honour in 2020.
