Gravesend

I’d like to make this match report a tribute to a former Heath/Gravesend player. It’ll take you all of one word to figure out who.

Shud the 1s win, we wood make lead at top of tabel. 1s skip made sure game went ahead unlike 2s who botled it. We bated first, Hamster hit ball far a lot, got slated for dirty slogs as no nice shots. Hamster hit ball out of ground then got out next ball. Hamster then started on the poly who cought him- ‘he does’nt even talk cricket’. Well set, Heath pressed on, Faisal on debue getting a start and Jimmy J puting together a good 50. We lost a few wickets quick, but big hitters Jumbo and Rob got us to a massive 243. A supper effort.

Tea was to much. Fruit near skip was a joke. Fruit moved too Wiseo even more of a joke. Only likes cake.

Bowling started unberleavably, the romance between Rob and Pudsy getting bigger with the too combining to get thirst wicket. From their we were relentless all bowlers except Jumbo hitting their straps. Pudsy dropped a sitter on the boundary of Faisal, romance with Rob nearly dyed. Faisal didn’t get much turn but got 4fer steel. Beating a good team at they’re own ground by over 150 runs was a great performance by the lads.
