Win Win WIn

The toss was won by the heath skipper and he asked if he was allowed to call the game off before it started. Thankfully the match was away and therefore out of his hands. So instead he chose to bat.

The wicket was slow and low and the outfield was slower than a Ben more two, which made scoring very difficult. The first boundary coming after 20 overs. Small contributions came from all batsman and it was the most boring innings you could ever watch, let alone read about here.

Notable moments, Shuk definitely running himself out for 0 with no fault of Patel whatsoever ?. And a cameo from Hally who doubled the boundary count with his two fours in one over.

The heath put on what seemed a par score of 159 in their 50

During tea Shuk was still sulking and Shrenik who notibably piled his plate higher than the ground at Dharamshala was asked by the oppo Captain if he was fed at home. To be fair they had taken over 4 hours to bowl their overs so he must have been very hungry.

Two ex Bexleyheath players came out to bat for the oppo. One played for many years back when Boney and Curtis used to score loads of tons 'Before play cricket' aka (BPC). A fine gent and very good batsman wicketkeeper named Chris Tarrant, whos father Ken was also umpire. And the other was a walking wicket by the name of Bash. Some of you may know him from 'During play cricket' (DPC).
Harry had Bash plumb first ball, however Mr McCann was not sure if it was missing the off or the leg and hence it was not out. He did not last long untill Fella cleaned him up. Tarrant went shortly after slipping on the floor and trying to crawl back on all fours. H with no respect for his former team mate from BPC ran him out and gave the Dale Steyn fist pump into the ground celebration.

Wickets started to regularly tumble with all the bowlers chipping in. 3 from Shuk, 2 from Chimp and Fella, and one a piece from Billy and H.
Thankfully we wrapped it up quickly as the skipper had a double date to go on that evening.

OC were bowled out for 71 and that concluded another heath victory.

MotM: Fella, for an all-round performance with two wickets, top score of 27 and a catch to his name.

FotD: Ravi for thinking he was on about 40 when only scoring 25 (Lame reason, although I'm not nibbling)
