Great end to the Season

At the end of a very challenging season this game restores my faith in the ability to play colts cricket with a smile and to watch some amazing play at the same time.

The two teams seemed evenly matched and a match that produces nearly 300 runs proved the point.
I have uploaded the result onto Play Cricket so scorecard will be updated overnight and stats will be included for the season. I will just include a few of my highlights from tonights game, but am sure I wont remember them all, because to be honest there were too many to mention.

I think it is fair to say that the bat ruled the ball for the majority of the game, that being said 3 players taking three wickets each (Freddie C, Liam and Charl) needs highlighting.
On the batting side great knocks from Abi (not out 37) and Rohan M (not out 31) which both included some stunning hitting and stroke play also deserve a mention.
It was also excellent watching two wicket keepers (Killan and Oliver H) only concede 5 byes between them and also some stunning fielding from Aidan, Joe and Oliver M to mention just three.

I think this was a great way to finish the season and it was brilliant that so many friends and family were there to watch and support the boys.
