Blackheath beaten in great win

The team march on with an excellent all round team performance against a very strong Blackheath side.

Batting first the lads faced a strong and accomplished bowling attack, very few extras given away and bowling very good lines but......Louie and Arthava opened the batting and played brilliantly. Artharva retiring for a very good 26 then Louie being out even he should have been retired the ball before for 26.
Everyone else chipped in but we were restricted to 103.

Not the biggest target to defend, but defend it we did. Bobby and Alfies opening spell was inspired. Bobby taking the first wicket second ball with an absolute gem. Alfie then bowled Blackheaths best batsmen. The lads restricted the opposition with no freebies being given up and if we could catch the ball!!!!!

The whole team contributed to a great performance. I have to mention Jude. He continued to play having suffered a huge nosebleed and then bowling a brilliant penultimate over. Very brave and amazing commitment to the team. Well done Jude.

I think this was one of our best team performances and I am very proud of the team and the way they played tonight.
