The season continues

What is there left to say about this group of young cricketers playing to a very high standard.

I thought tonight would probably be our toughest match of the season so far on a far from ideal pitch making batting far from easy. Shows what I know. With another extremely professional performance we cruised to victory and it was great to see other players giving match winning performances.

The fielding tonight was on a much higher level and produced an early run out.

The bowling attack all played their part tonight with Artharva producing match figures 3 for 2 from his 2 overs being the highlight.

As predicted the batting proved more difficult, but another cultured 28 retired by Louie set us up, but I have to say that Suban's 26 Not Out was brilliant to watch, belligerent but with some exquisite drives too taking us home to victory.

I finally want to mention Killan, he stepped into the team tonight and did an amazing job, keeping to some of the quickest bowlers in the league on an indifferent pitch was brilliant. Great work tonight.

So on to Gravesend on Monday.
