Welllll......what do you say after a season like that? I have used up every superlative and with the risk of repeating myself...WHAT A TEAM!!!

We came in to todays game with a number of new faces, one making there debut and three stepping up from the 13B side, I didnt need to worry, they all played an amazing game.

Stand in skipper Louie won the toss and put the opposition in to bat in what can only be described as a very very dry wicket. Again Alfie's opening spell was brilliant, batsmen playing and missing and giving the batsmen anything. Louie opened from the other end and again bowled well.
Artharva and Arnav joined forces and were awesome, bowling 5 overs between them for 5 runs and both taking a wicket. It was then down to the new boys. Musa as always bowled very straight, James bowled with pace and bounce and then debutant Udbhav bowled his first spell for the 13A's and took his first wicket, brilliant work. Yuv came next and bowled 2 immaculate overs only going for 2 runs and one maiden.

The batting didnt quite go according to plan, Santosh falling to an amazing caught and bowled and run machine Artharva run out for 1. Louie was batting very securely at one end and in came Suban. This was undoubtedly his best innings. he hit the ball with ferocious power and timing and was quickly retired on 26.

Although we lost 4 more wickets captain Louie saw us home with the very impressive Yuv.

How do I sum up this season. It has been my pleasure to coach the boys this season, they have played some amazing cricket, but to me the most important thing has been how we have played. The team spirit, the willingness to learn, always giving me 100%, what else can I ask for.

A remarkable feat going unbeaten all season. Never been done apparently by any team in any age group since the NKJL started.

The boys also need to remember the parents, grandparents, Aunts and Uncles who have supported them this year. Your support is second to none, you have a lot to do with the boys success too so from me a huge thank you.

As soon as I know the date of the League Presentation evening I will let you know and I would really appreciate it if we could get as many of the players there as possible.
