Here we go again, another season starts on a very dull and chilly evening.

Losing the toss Sidcup decided to bowl first and at 30 for 3 it looked a good decision. Then the recovery started, great innings from skipper Aniketh, Nandak and Ishaan moved the score forward rapidly, Nandak hitting a lovely straight to retire. With Siya and Aarvik making their debuts, it came down to Amelia and Siya to finish the innings in great style, both girls hittimg some superb boundries in the final couple of overs. Finishing on 150 it was a solid start to the season.

Sidcup batted solidly throughout the innings, but accurate bowling, stunning fielding, including two great catches from Amelia, the score was always beyond them. The bowling was good, not many extras and lots of encouragement in the field, a good all round team performance.

Lots of room for improvement, but certainly a good start to the season. Lets move forward to two games next week, well played team.
