A local derby always raises the heartbeat slightly and matches against Bexley are always hard fought.

Captain Aniketh lost the toss and we were asked to field, a decision Bexley were to regret, opening bowlers Ishaan and Aarvik started superbly, reducing Bexley to 4 for 2 runs. The opposition never recovered, solid spells from all the bowlers restricted Bexley to 61 all out in just 13 overs.
Two excellent catches from Advit and Parth assisted the bowling and also included a smart stumping from Nandak.

The batting has been the sides strong point this season and this game was no exception, the winning runs being scored in the 7th over for the loss of only one wicket.

Aside from the team spirit and excellent teamwork, I think Vihaan agreeing to field for the opposition and taking an excellent proves to me just what amazing characters they all are.

We move on towards the business end of the season and we will just have to continue our exceptionally high standards.
