2nd U15 game of the season, this time at home. The opponents won the toss and elected to bat first. Shrenik and Jack opened the bowling keeping Gravesend down to 7 overs for just 5 runs with Shrenik bowling 3 maidens on the trot, taking a wicket in his third after a worldie from George in the slips. The bowling and the fielding was excellent from the boys as we managed to keep the opponents down to 67/6 after another good bowling performance from Sukhvir with figures of 4 overs 4 wickets for 13. Dowlers chipped in with a helpful 4 overs with 1 wickets for 5 runs. Oakley and Ben went in to open for us, with a slow start due to the difficult pitch the was being played on. Wickets fell as the game became more and more tight until Meggsy and Jack came in to play smart innings to finish off the innings well for us with Meggsy finishing off on 20 and Jack hitting the winning runs. 2 out of 2 for the boys this season with a lot of positives to take forward to the next game.
