BHCC U15 A vs Blackheath U15
At home, Bexleyheath were up against Blackheath on a fairly clear day with a few clouds. They lost the toss and Blackheath chose to bat first. After a fantastic spell from both of the opening bowlers, Rishab and Tom, suppressing the run rate and taking frequent wickets, the bowling performance went quickly downhill, with Blackheath’s middle order putting on a great show. By the end of the innings, Blackheath had made an outstanding 167-7.
After a underwhelming bowling performance, Bexleyheath were ready to bounce back with the bat. However, Blackheath put on another spectacular show with ball in hand. They bowled a fantastic opening spell, and skittled Bexleyheath’s middle order with ease. They were eventually bowled out for 49 runs after 17 overs, with a top score of 33 achieved by Lewis, meaning that Blackheath won the game by 118 runs.
