Captain Aaron lost the toss and Bromley chose to put us in to bat. There weren’t many highlights from the innings, with just a few fours from Aniketh, Musa and Freddie! Sid showed some fight and sensible defense but we were all undone by some accurate bowling and balls that kept very low! Great credit goes to Ibrahim and Oliver who opened up in testing circumstances, straight out of the car and into the action for the former! Aaron did his own impression of JP, by wandering outside of his crease and getting stumped! Something our opponents must have learned from our match (against them) last week! The ten men of Bexleyheath all out for 37!

Despite opening up with the pace of Aniketh and pure aggression of Freddie, we were unable to get those early wickets, with edges flying to the boundary!Bromley quickly knocked off the runs, but we learned some harsh, valuable lessons around batting, fielding etc etc!

Plenty to work on!

The one shining light of the night has to be Ibrahim, who not only opened the batting, but donned the gloves and was behind the stumps for some express pace without taking a backward step! Well done ??

We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated.
